we only have one more week until our first term is over. Yeah! We studied some scientist the week and next week will talk about the Spanish-American War. Then we have a week off, for Labor Day and because we always take a week off between terms. We go to register for co-op classes on Saturday. I will post our week in review tomorrow.

We just finished Week 7 also...is that why I'm feeling about like the October from the homeschool calendar you posted? :)
The photo in your blog header, what is it? At first I thought it was a tree trunk (the rings), then I thought it was a rug...now, I think I'll ask!

IT is a fountain of some sort, the water drips in from the side and down to the center. I was standing on top of the sides and still could not get the whole thing, it is about 3-4 ft. wide.
