Week 9 in Review

Well we have started the 20th century. WE reviewed Henry Ford, and talked about Hellen Keller, the Wright Brothers and what our family would be like if we had lived in the year 1900. This was our first week of juggling co-op homework and schooling, last week we had off so I was unsure how the oldest two would do but they did great! We are modifying our literature assignments with TOG and I am not making them read a whole novel a week plus all of the history reading- it was just too much for them and me. But we are still trucking along.

This next week we are going to be covering Teddy Roosevelt, the Hawaiian Island (they also have a project on hawaii that they will be working on due in two weeks) and the building of the Panama Canal.

Your week looks great! Love the catapillars. My boys would like to do that. Hope next week is just as good.

Looks like a great week
What is that LIterature sheet you are using for one of the older students? :-)

Very nice! I want to know about the literature sheet, too.

Is there any way, with these slides, to pause them or stop them to look at a particular one longer?

I used to live in Panama, if your kids have any questions about the area.
